Record readers have their hometown newspaper trekking around the globe for the chance to be featured in Paper Postcards. Here are a few of our favourite recent postcards shots.

From Russia with love: The Cox family took their Record along on a recent vacation to Moscow - here, from left, are Cyndy Cox; her daughter, Bryanna McNamee; her mom, Joan Cox; and her son; Jacob McNamee.
Joyous occasions: Derek, Selena and Trevor Yip of New Westminster jump for joy - as well they should, since their parents took them to Disneyland and Universal Studios in celebration of Derek's Grade 12 graduation, Selena's Sweet 16th and Trevor's 11th birthday and graduation from Hume Park Elementary School.
Trekking: Glenn Renney took his Record on the road to Fenway Park.
Asian adventure: Violet Tonido sent in this photo of her whole family on a trip to the Philippines with The Record. Shown are her kids Gabriel, Kyla and Jeremy (holding the paper), along with her husband Art and Violet herself, at Manila Ocean Park.
Rhine River cruise: Wilf Mowbray took his Record along on a cruise down the Rhine and into the Danube River, starting in Amsterdam and finishing in Budapest. Here, he's at the gangplank in Vienna.
In search of soccer: Travelling reporter Alfie Lau took The Record along when he went to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup this summer. Here, he's in the Indian Ocean on the beach at Durban.
African adventure: Bernie Kiesewetter travelled to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup this summer. Here, he's outside the Durban stadium, where he got to see his beloved Germans beat Australia 4-0.
Southwestern odyssey: Parents David and Alison Lafond, along with Joshua and Emily, took their Record on a recent trip to Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Route 66.
Now that's a Royal City trip: Ben and Sophie Crowther took The Record with them to Warwick Castle in England, where they spent some time this summer visiting relatives.
Mediterranean beauty: Erika Tajiri on Santorini during a trip to the Greek Islands with her family in August.
Mediterranean journey: Derek and Johanna Rundell with their Record in Cyprus, where they went in July for a family wedding. They had time to do plenty of sightseeing, and this photo was taken while they were checking out Aphrodite's Pool and the surrounding bay.
California smiles: Maddy and Barbara Smeal with Shamu at Sea World in San Diego on a recent trip to Disneyland.
Now that's a well-read paper: E.C. "Ted" Eddy, president of New Westminster's Raymond Burr Performing Arts Society (far left) travelled to White Rock to see New West's Adrian Hughes (to Eddy's left) as Superintendent Paul in the Royal Canadian Theatre Company's production of No Sex Please, We're British. Other cast members pictured, from Hughes' left, are Sam Gordon, Wendy Bollard, Nicole Shmashnuk, Alan "Dame" Cedargreen, Jackie Faulkner, Beckie Hachey, Geoff Giffin and Jarrod Terrell. Assistant stage manager Stephanie Bruce, also of New West, is behind the couch.
Back east: Tom Droppo and Melanie Fontana took their Record along when they went to Cardinal, Ontario in July for a family reunion.
Roll, Tide, roll: The Lincoln family - Ryan, Linda, Paul and Ron - took their Record to Bryan-Denny Stadium is Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the home of the 2009 NCAA College Football champions, Alabama Crimson Tide.
East Coast moments: Jill Drake and kids Fia and Rylan Cameron spent July in the Maritimes. Here, they stop for a photo with their Record in the famed Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia.
Hyack adventure: Hyack Festival Association reps took the Record to Olympia, Washington, where they participated in the Lake City Fair and parade. Smiling for the camera are (front row) Alana McIntyre, Marlene Higgins, Terri Rodger; (second row) Miss New Westminster Marjan Kazemzadeh, Brenda Adam, Baj Puri, Nancy Puri, Peter Goodwin, Gloria Munro, Sue Sayer, Ken Williams, Rick Molstad, Len Kozak, Tristen Westman and Don Swindells.
California, here they come: Ted and Betty Grewcutt, along with family members - including their children, children's spouses and grandchildren - took The Record to California Adventure Park at Disneyland during a family vacation in July.
North to Alaska: Iris and Len Kozak took their Record along on an Alaskan cruise, where they made a stop at Skagway, a historic gold mining town.
Orange pride: Joan Taylor, Travis Taylor, Ted Taylor, Shauna Williams and Scott Janssen took their Record to Manchester, England to the world field lacrosse championships, where Travis coached the Dutch national team to an eighth-place finish.
Artistic journey: The Record travelled to the Bardinni Gardens in Florence, courtesy of Gillian Wright - pictured here with fellow New Westminster resident Dale Constanza and art instructor Alfonso Tejada. Alfonso led a 10-day "plein air" painting tour of Florence, and they also took in Venice.
In search of Mickey Mouse: Suki Bains and daughter Hansah, who live in Queensborough, travelled with their Record to the Magic Kingdom at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
East Coast highlights: Annette Dronzek at the wind turbines of Kent Hills, New Brunswick, on a recent trip east. Dronzek flew to Toronto for the marriage of her grandson, Jordan Bannister, to Naomi Striemer of Simcoe, Ont. After the ceremony, the family drove to Quebec City and then on to Moncton, N.B. for a second wedding reception for family and friends. Jordan works at the wind turbines in Kent Hills.
Ontario trek: Melanie Fontana and Tom Droppo took their Record on the road to Ottawa, where they enjoyed some time out at the Rideau Carleton Harness Racetrack and Casino.

Family vacation: The Lane family - Bill, Nicholas, Charlotte and Alex - visited the Parthenon at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. in June.
Across the pond: Karen Davidson and her daughter, Delaney, on a "girls' trip" with London's Big Ben in the background.
Globetrotting: Marjorie Smith took her hometown newspaper on a trip back to her birthplace, New Brighton, New Zealand
Sharing a smile: Kathy Slocombe and her husband, Barry, with American friends Manny and Gloria Fernandes and John and Marsha Nee, on a trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey.
On the Mayan trail: The Arthur family - Wei, Catherine, Patrick and Liam - went on a two-week trip to Mexico in July. They visited Xcaret, Tulum, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and sites with Mayan ruins.
Bob Collyer and Lino Ciccarelli of New Westminster took a copy of The Record with them to Pescina, Italy, while visiting friend and café owner Cesidio Di Biaso.
Sweet Dreams:  Joan Clifton and Denise Carlyle took The Record on their travels to the Dreams resort in Huatulco, Mexico.

Family occasion: Teresita V. Guevara (back, centre) took her Record along on a recent trip. She was in Balayan, Batangas in the Philippines for her grandson's eighth birthday (that's her grandson in front of her, with the paper).
Top of the world: Wendy Armstrong (left) and Judy Healey with their Record - overlooking the view from the 124th floor of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
Making headlines: Catherine Bruce and Al Ing, two former city employees, took The Record along to dinner at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., where they were guests of Al's sister, Dorothy Russell - who was an editor with the Washington Post during the Nixon-Watergate years.
