The junior A Express are 3-1 in exhibition B.C. Hockey League play after its return to Coquitlam so far this season.
The Express posted a 4-3 win, including a pair of power play markers, over the conference champion Powell River Kings on Aug. 28.
A day later, Coquitlam defeated the Surrey Eagles 4-2.
New Westminster's Djordie Leposavic, a rushing defensiveman who played last season with the Richmond Sockeyes of the Pacific International league, scored a goal as he tries to make the jump from junior B this year.
Former Northwest Giants forward Destry Straight had one of three power-play markers for the Express in the win.
The 17-year-old speedster also tallied in a 6-4 loss to the Langley Chiefs on Aug. 31.

New Westminster Lawn Bowling Club's Josephine Lee of Burnaby was named to the Bowls Canada team that will compete in the XIXth Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, Oct. 3 to 14.
The 61-year-old Lee, last year's women's singles champion and silver medallist at the Hong Kong Classic in 2009, placed third in the Bowls B.C. women's singles in North Vancouver last month. Lee shared a second bronze medal with partner Jenny Siu in the provincial women's pairs.
Lee is also a three-time provincial mixed pairs champion with partner Hirendra Bhartu.
