Top marks: Maureen Albanese, Treasurer of the Raymond Burr Performing Arts Society, a city resident and the late Raymond Burr's cousin, gives Christopher Osterman the second Raymond Burr Performing Arts Society second-year entrance award of distinction. The presentation, with Society President Ted Eddy looking on, was made at the Nov. 12 opening night of Douglas College's production of "Jehanne of the Witches" a play written by Sally Clark and produced by the departments of theatre and stagecraft and event technology. Osterman, a resident of Surrey, was the head carpenter for the set and will continue his studies at Douglas College. This is the second such award made by the society this year. The play runs at the Laura C. Muir Theatre at the New Westminster campus until Nov. 19.
