Blue skies, a spot of tea and some local art - what a way to spend a summer Sunday.

The Port Royal Community Garden Society hosted Art in Bloom and English Tea Party recently, as part of the annual New Westminster Cultural Crawl, running Aug. 11 and 12.

Held at the Port Royal Community Garden, the tea party featured working artists, displays, musicians, and, of course, plenty of tea and treats.

The Crawl takes place each August, with local studios and artists opening their doors to visitors and unique events happening throughout the city to highlight the local art scene. For more, see www.newwestculturalcrawl.com.
