You're invited to help Douglas College celebrate its 40th birthday.

The college is hosting a 40th anniversary homecoming bash on Friday, Sept. 24 from 4 to 9 p.m.

Celebrations will include free appetizers and cake, a cash barbecue and bar, DJs, entertainment and prizes.

"Whether you're a graduate, a former (or current) employee or someone who took a few courses at some point over the last 40 years, we want to see you at the party," a college press release says.

All the events will take place in the main concourse at the New Westminster campus, 700 Royal Ave., and spouses and children are welcome. See www.douglascollege.ca/celebrate40 for details.
